Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Antonio Rudiger of Real Madrid were among those named by UEFA on Thursday to the Champions League team for this week.

Following the conclusion of the group stage match-day four matches on Wednesday night, UEFA announced the Champions League team in a post on its website on Thursday.

For their respective clubs, Salah and Rudiger performed admirably against Rangers and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Wednesday’s 7-1 victory over Rangers by Liverpool featured three goals from Salah, while Tuesday’s 1-1 tie between Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk by Real Madrid had a late goal from Rudiger.
