Teni releases a catchy song titled “Gele,” which serves as an advertisement for the Airtel 4g lite sim.
Teniola Apata, also known as Teni The Entertainer, is a singer, composer, and performer from Nigeria.
The majority of the song is performed in pidgin, a West African creole with English as its base. Teni performs songs in both Yoruba and its Ondo dialect, two Nigerian ethnic languages, on the CD. She is unconcerned with the limited use of English impeding any Western crossover.
The song “Gele” discusses the partying mentality of Nigerians and the importance of dressing better than everyone else at the party, much like our 4G.
Despite your best efforts to ignore this incredible music with its mind-blowing lyrics and sounds, you simply cannot resist it.
