J. Cole – Snow on tha Bluff

In his unexpected release, J. Cole’s “Snow on Tha Bluff” takes on racism, police brutality, and financial inequality. Many celebrities have been protesting and voicing their opinions over the death of George Floyd over the past few weeks. Some people have even chosen to make good use of their platforms to alert corrupt police to the killing of unarmed black people.

Dreamville Jermaine addresses all of the aforementioned issues in a self-produced song (with Kelvin Wooten’s assistance). Additionally, it’s in response to the criticism Noname has had in recent years. She traveled to provide insight into issues outside of Chicago.

Others are anxiously awaiting news of Cole’s long-awaited album The Fall Off, but for the time being, he just has to get something off his chest. Watch for information on the album, which will be released this year.

Despite your best efforts to ignore this incredible music with its mind-blowing lyrics and sounds, you simply cannot resist it.
