Years after leaving Mavin, singer Korede Bello claims that no record label has signed him.
While clarifying that he is no longer signed to Mavin Records because their contractual arrangement ended, he made this known during a radio interview.
Bello reportedly quietly quit the Don Jazzy-owned record company in 2017.
However, the “Godwin” hitmaker explained that he has a connection with ONErpm, a company that handles digital distribution.
Korede Bello added that despite not being a Mavin Records artist, he is still a Mavin at heart.
In response to a question about whether he is still interested in being signed to a different record label, the singer said that while labels used to be necessary to assist with distribution, promotion, and production, this is no longer the case.
The emphasis is on persuading distribution businesses to list the project on platforms because, according to Korede, there are digital music stores.
