Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United’s striker, has stated that the Red Devils are two steps behind Premier League rivals Manchester City, Liverpool, and Chelsea.

In the past, Manchester United has won a record 20 league crowns, 12 FA Cups, five League Cups, and three Champions Leagues.

However, they have struggled to find success since their great manager Sir Alex Ferguson retired nearly a decade ago.

Man United has only won three titles since Ferguson’s departure from Old Trafford in 2013: the FA Cup in 2016, and the League Cup and Europa League in 2017.

However, in an interview with TalkTV’s Piers Morgan, the Portugal captain stated, “I haven’t witnessed much evolution at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson left.”

“Manchester United, like other teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea, has not followed the right path to success.” They are either one or two steps behind.”
