Afro Award in Los Angeles, California will recognize Africans and Americans. Singer David Adedeji Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has been chosen. Currently, Adeleke is mourning the tragic loss of his 3-year-old son Ifeanyi.
Sen. Ademola Jackson-Adeleke, the state’s next governor and Davido’s uncle, was also named a beneficiary, according to Mr. Taiwo Oduala, founder and executive producer of The Afro Awards.
Along with Davido, other honorees include Mrs. Fatima Maada, the First Lady of Sierra Leone, Ayuko Babu, the creator and CEO of the Pan African Film Festival, and Seye Kehinde, a well-known Nigerian Journalist.
He claims that beneficiaries include Americans and Africans who excelled in a range of fields.
The most anticipated event of the year, the Afro Awards 2022, is planned to be broadcast live on television on Sunday, November 6, at Regal La Live 1000 W Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90015, United States.
According to him, the main objective of the award is to assist those who have achieved in a variety of fields by displaying exceptional altruism.
Davido’s son Ifeanyi Adeleke fell away on October 31st, just a few days after celebrating his third birthday on October 20.
